Forum-Nexus courses are sponsored by two European universities:
In summer 2025, course credits and transcripts will be issued by Franklin University Switzerland. FUS is fully accredited in Switzerland and also in the U.S.
Each Forum-Nexus course is designed to comply with curricular guidelines of U.S. and international universities.
All courses taken through Forum-Nexus are worth 3 U.S. semester credit hours (6 ECTS credits). In most cases they will transfer to your home institution and count towards your degree requirements.
Each student must enroll in at least one regular 3-credit course. They may enroll in one or two additional courses for a total of 6 or 9 credits. Each 3-credit course involves 45 contact hours. All students also participate in the International IQ Seminar, designed to improve your cultural, geographic, and global knowledge.
As a Forum-Nexus student, it is your responsibility to contact the study abroad office at your university to ensure that courses taken with Forum-Nexus will transfer. Forum-Nexus staff are available to assist with the approval process as well.
